Originally, St. Patrick's Day was more of a local affair, celebrated in the Emerald Isle itself. But like a good Irish jig, it's hopped and skipped its way across the globe, and now everyone wants a piece of the craic!
This year, let RUSC be your St. Patrick's Day haven. We've got a pick n' mix selection of shows on our special St. Patrick's Day page, perfect for adding to your playlist. You can download them, or listen online. We're practically sham-rocking with content!
And speaking of content, we've added a few new gems to the RUSC treasure chest, just in time for the festivities.
- Eileen - A delightful adaptation of Victor Herbert's operetta from The Railroad Hour. You'll be harp-ing on about it for days!
- Happy Saint Patrick's Day - Step back in time with this charming special from Recollections at 30. A real emerald of a show.
- Irish Eyes Are Smiling - Enjoy this radio adaptation of the Twentieth Century Fox film from Screen Guild Theater. It’s sure to leave you clover-joyed.
- Rinkfire - A heartwarming tale of resilience and redemption.
So, whether you're looking for a heartfelt story, a fantastical adventure, or just some good old-fashioned Irish cheer, we've got you covered. We've got more Irish shows than you can shake a… well, a shillelagh at!
Happy St. Patrick's Day, my friends. May your day be filled with laughter, good company, and the magic of old time radio. And remember, if you're feeling a bit lepre-chaotic, just tune in to RUSC, and we'll have you feeling right as rain.
Enjoy!
