Secret Agent K7

Secret Agent K7 is a classic old-time radio series that follows the adventures of a former United States secret agent known only by the codename “K7”. The series blends elements of espionage, mystery, and suspense, transporting listeners to exotic locales around the world as K7 and his network of agents work to thwart the nefarious plots of enemy spies and saboteurs . The series debuted in 1939 and ran for 69 episodes, with K7 narrating the tales of his agents’ exploits in a somber, methodical tone that underscored the gravity of the situations they faced. While K7 himself was no longer an active field agent, he directed the operations of a team of skilled operatives - Agent Z, Agent M, Agent B-9, and their respective female assistants Patricia Norwood, Yvonne Durrell, and Rita Drake.

The stories tackled a wide range of threats to American interests, from smuggling rings and industrial sabotage to government overthrows and the theft of military secrets. With the clouds of war gathering over Europe, the series tapped into contemporary fears about espionage and national security, offering listeners a glimpse into the shadowy world of international intrigue.
